During Art Club, Year 4 created clay food sculptures for the Art Club Café! To start this project, the children designed a food mood board to record their favourite foods and then they chose a food that they wanted to make a sculpture out of. This promoted lots of debate and discussion about likes and dislikes!
The children loved experimenting with the different tools and techniques while working with the clay. Such a range of foods were sculpted, including pumpkins, cupcakes, hot chocolate, marshmallows and many more!
Carefully created zines were produced after the sculpting to advertise and promote the Art Club Café.
